1. "INFUSION COMPLETE."
2. A graphic representation (completely lled in bar graph) indicating infusion complete, or the
smaller dot con guration (shown here) if a KVO RATE is programmed.
3. "TOT Vol" (Total Volume): If units are mg or mcg, this eld will also toggle to give the Total
Infused.
4. "KVO Rate:"
e preset KVO rate displays.
5. Infusion Complete is considered an alarm status, and the audio alarm will beep periodically
(every 3 seconds if there is no KVO, every 20 minutes if there is a KVO) to alert the user to this
condition. Additionally, the LED lights blink to alert you to the status of the pump.
light blinks when the KVO rate is infusing (if one is programmed) and the red light blinks to
indicate that the Infusion Complete alarm exists.
To halt the infusion at "Infusion Complete," press the PAUSE key and then choose to either:
1. Turn o the pump by pressing the OFF key, or
2. Select one of the options from the Pause Screen:
3. REPEAT Rx: To repeat the present therapy and add another IV bag with the same prescription,
press the YES/ENTER key at this eld. If more than one therapy is programmed, a Select
erapy Screen will list all preprogrammed therapies. Select which therapy to repeat by moving
the cursor to the therapy of choice and pressing the YES/ENTER key.
e pump will then display the program screens with the last programmed values of the therapy
and the cursor will automatically advance through the prescription menus. You can stop the auto-
advance function by pressing any key (except ON/OFF) and then complete the con rmation of
the prescription manually by pressing the YES key at the remaining elds.
4. NEW PROGRAM: To program an entirely new prescription or a di erent therapy, press the
YES/ENTER key at this eld and the display will return to the Select
ability to change these parameters may be controlled by the lock setting.)
Note:
e therapy is complete; therefore, "RESUME" is not an option at this time and is not
displayed.
