LCD Display:
"***ALERT *** KVO RATE IS GREATER THAN INF RATE"
Alert:
Unable to enter KVO rate that is greater than infusion rate.
Cause:
Occurs when user enters a KVO rate that is greater than infusion rate.
Resolution:
Recheck data entry. KVO rate must be less than programmed or calculated
infusion rate.
LCD Display:
"***ALERT *** LESS THAN MIN FIELD LIMIT, MIN = ________"
Alert:
Unable to program a eld with a value that is less than the minimum limit.
Cause:
Value entered is less than the minimum limit for the pump or MedLMTS
limit programmed.
Resolution:
Recheck data entry. A value entered cannot be less than the eld's minimum
limit.
LCD Display:
"***ALERT *** LOW C BATTERIES"
Alert:
Battery source power is low.
Cause:
e batteries that are powering the pump have reached levels that may prevent
the continued operation of the pump beyond 1 hour (actual time is rate
dependent). Alert applies to only C-cell batteries, not to the rechargeable
battery pack.
Resolution:
Pause the therapy in progress, turn the pump o ; and then replace the
batteries. (See chapter 1 of the User's Manual for instructions on battery
change.)
LCD Display:
"***ALERT *** MAX CHANGES FOR PERIOD REACHED"
Alert:
e maximum number of changes for the current delta time window has been
reached.
Cause:
e maximum number of pump rate changes for the current delta time window
has been reached.

Allow more time to elapse before attempting to change the rate or reprogram
the therapy with MedLMTS
