Installing Remote Console
The following illustration shows the back panel connectors on the
Remote Console.

1. Place console on a hard, stable, flat surface
from dimmers and high-current AC lines. Leave t least six
inches behind console for ventilation an cable clearance .
Caution: Do not leave the console in a r a case tray or on a
soft surface. This inhibits proper vent lation.
2. Insert the key into the power witch, and turn it to the Off po-
sition.
3. Insert the female end of t e power cord in the console con-
nector labeled Power n.
4. Insert the male end of the console power cord in a grounded
120 VAC outlet . F r 220 VAC operation, consult ETC.
5. Insert the E CNet cable connector into the appropriate con-
nector on the back panel. Once connected, the console com-
municates directly with your Obsession Processor Unit or full
con ole. For more information about wiring, see the ETCNet
