Chapter 25 SMPTE
In the SMPTE Events display
Follow these steps to create a SMPTE program from the SMPTE
Events display.
Keystrokes:
1. Record the cues, submasters
and macros to include in the
program.
2. Press [Setup*].
3. Press [9], SMPTE Events,
[Enter].
4. Press [S1], Select Event,
[1][Enter].
5. Press [Time] [1][0][0] [Enter].
6. Press [Cue] [1] [Enter].
7. Press [S7], Rate, [1][2][5]
[Enter].
8. Press [Label] and use the
alphanumeric keyboard to
enter a label. Press [En e ]
9. Press [S1], Select Event [2]
[Enter].
10. Press [S3], Bump, [1] [Enter]. Tells submaster 1 to bump
11. Press [Time] [2][0][0].
12. Create event 3 and enter a
time of three seconds.
13. Press [Macro] [1] [Enter].
Action/Command line:
Selects SMPTE Events display
SMPTE:
Creates and selects event 1.
SMPTE: Event 1
Sets the SMPTE Time to one
second
SMPTE: Event 1 Time

Enters cue int the event.
SMPTE: Event 1 Cue 1
Enters a ate of 125 percent of
the r cor ed fade rate
