4.4.2.4 Linearization Function Block

This function block is used to compensate for static nonlinearities within the connected
valve. For this purpose, up to 20 supporting points can be defined by means of which the
characteristic curve is gradually approximated. A supporting point consists of an x-coordi-
nate and a y-coordinate. The supporting points are designated "P1" ... "P20."
The linearization is set with the following parameters in
159
[} 38].
• NL_ENABLE
• NL_P01 ... NL_P20

4.4.2.5 Valve Adjustment Function Block

This function block is used to define the operational range of the valve.
If the input value is less than 0 %, the output value scales between VA_MAX_B and
VA_MIN_B. If the input value is greater than 0 %, then the output value scales between
VA_MIN_A and VA_MAX_A. With input value 0 %, the output value is 0 %.
The valve adjustment is set with the following parameters in
and 161
• VA_ENABLE
• VA_MIN_A (value output for input value ≥ 0 %)
• VA_MAX_A (value output for input value ≥ 100 %)
• VA_MIN_B (value output for input value ≤ 0 %)
• VA_MAX_B (value output for input value ≤ −100 %)
