4.2.4 Control of Functions via Digital Inputs

The following functions can be used via digital inputs DI1 and DI2 with corresponding pa-
rameterization.
• JOG/TIP mode
• Digital input

• Emergency operation

• HOLD function
• STOP function
• ENDSTOP function

4.2.5 Emergency Operation
Emergency operation is active once the substitute value strategy is applied due to a local
bus failure and the respective emergency operation parameters are set. Emergency oper-
ation is deactivated the substitute value strategy is exited.
During emergency operation, local operation is implemented by the digital inputs.
The digital inputs must be parameterized for JOG mode. The digital inputs retain this pa-
rameterization regardless of the current operation.
