4.2 Operational Functions

Depending on the parameterization of the I/O module, the following functions and proper-
ties may be available:

• On target

• Normal operation

• JOG/TIP mode
• Control of functions via digital inputs
• Emergency operation
• HOLD function
• STOP function
• ENDSTOP function
• Substitute value strategy
• Teach-in of the current controllers
The operational functions and features are described in more detail below.
4.2.1 On Target
The "On Target" value is a permissible deviation tolerance from the setpoint entered.
Example:
If 50 % is specified as the setpoint and the target window is set to 1 %, then the
ON_TARGET bit is set as soon as the actual value is in the range between 49 % and
51 %.
