5.2 Node Structure

The following factors may cause the temperature in the I/O module to rise high enough to
trigger the temperature warning:
• High ambient temperature
• High cross-current through the power jumper contacts
• High supply voltage
• Continuous utilization of the output channels with the full nominal current
In this case, the module temperature can be lowered by plugging in a distance module.
