Exiting the Teach-in Function
Set the TEACH_EN bit to 0.
ð If the teach-in function is applied successfully, the control parameters that are deter-
mined are accepted and applied.
ð The TEACH_ST bit is set to 0. The LED for the channel status of the corresponding
channel is switched off.
ð The control parameters are stored in volatile memory.
ð The I/O module is then ready for operation again.
If an error has occurred during the application of the teach-in function, the output stage is
deactivated. The error is signaled via the process image and the LEDs for the channel
status and the teach-in function of the respective channel; see sections
via Indicators [} 69]
if this function is switched on.
Cancel the teach-in function as follows:
1. Reset the error signaling by acknowledging the error; see section
edgment
2. Exit the teach-in function.
ð The I/O module is ready for operation again.
Testing the Teach-in Function and Saving the Control Parameters
1. Test the current controller with the new control parameters.
2. Save the control parameters in the I/O module in remanent member so they remain
permanently available.
ð The process of applying the teach-in function is completed.
