4.2.8 ENDSTOP Function

The ENDSTOP function can be used to configure the reaction of the I/O module to reach-
ing or exceeding a certain position or fill level, which is detected by a limit switch.
The following two variants of the ENDSTOP function can be configured:
• Approach end stop value
• Hold present actual value ("freeze")
The digital inputs must be assigned to the ENDSTOP function.

The parameters for configuration are described in
(Process Data Handling, Valve 1, Valve 2) [} 34].
The following events can be used to cancel the approach to the end stop value before it
is reached:
• Positive edge on SPL_EN
• Positive edge on JOG_POS
• Positive edge on JOG_NEG
• Negative edge on JOG_POS (only in JOG mode)
• Negative edge on JOG_NEG (only in JOG mode)
