18.2 Disassembling the sewing motor
To disassemble the sewing motor:
1. Switch off the machine.
2. Disassemble the arm cover ( p. 19).
3. Disassemble toothed belt cover and handwheel ( p. 23).
4. Disassemble the motor cover ( p. 22).
5. Disassemble the front cover ( p. 20)

(1) - Tensioning roller
(2) - Screw
6. Loosen the screw (2) on the tensioning roller (1)
The toothed belt tension is slack.
7. Remove the tensioning roller (1).
Make sure not to lose the washer.

(3) - Toothed belt
8. Remove the toothed belt (3).
