Long thread trimmer (LFA)
Proper setting
The thread-pulling knife (2) pivots as closely as possible above the hook
and is at the same height as the counter blade (1).
To adjust the height of the thread-pulling knife:
1. Open the throat plate slide ( p. 28).
2. Loosen the screw on the set collar (5).
3. Loosen the screw (6).
4. Adjust the height of the knife carrier (4).
 The thread-pulling knife (2) is the same height as the counter blade.
5. Tighten the screw on the set collar (5).
6. Tighten the screw (6).

The thread-pulling knife (2) does not collide with the bobbin or middle
section of the hook.
Ensure that the knife carrier has no axial play.
