Select the encryption type that is the same as the wireless access
point.
L Be sure to verify the access point setting, because the terminals and access
points cannot communicate using different encryption.
About the encryption types
• None
No data is encrypted.
L This option can be selected when the "Authentication" item (7) is set to
"Open System" or "Open System/Shared Key."
• WEP RC4
It is an encryption type that can communicate when the encryption
key matches.
L You can set the encryption key length to between 64 (40) and 128 (104)
bits.
L You can select this option when the "Authentication" item (7) is set to
"Open System" or "Open System/Shared Key."
• TKIP/AES
Either the "TKIP" or "AES" encryptions are automatically recognized
when connecting to a wireless access point.
L You can select this option when the "Authentication" item (7) is set to
"WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK."
