ENGINE SERVICE - TOP END

VALVE COVER SERVICE

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the spark plug wire retention clip from the
valve cover.
2. Remove the five fasteners

securing the valve cover
the valve cover.
3. Remove the valve cover gasket

and isolators
to the engine. Remove

and discard.
ENGINE / COOLING / EXHAUST
INSTALLATION
1. Install a new valve cover gasket
IMPORTANT
Ensure the gasket is fully seated in the valve cover
groove.

2. Install the valve cover on the engine.

3. Install the fasteners and new rubber isolators
