HEADPIPE SERVICE

REMOVAL
1. Remove the Oxygen Sensor. Refer to Oxygen Sensor
Service page 4.27
2. Remove the Exhaust Muffler. Refer to Muffler Service
page 3.20.
3. Remove the four fasteners

shield to the headpipe, and remove the heat
shield.
4. Remove the two fasteners

shield to the headpipe, and remove the heat
shield.

5. Remove the four fasteners

to the engine.
6. Disconnect the exhaust isolator from the chassis and
remove the headpipe from the vehicle.
NOTICE
Discard the headpipe gasket.
INSTALLATION
1. Install a new headpipe gasket.
