3. Connect the ignition coil retention clip to the valve
cover.

IGNITION SYSTEM TESTING

The ignition coil can be tested by using an ohm meter.
Use the following illustration and specification table to
test the ignition coil resistance.

Between 1 & 2
Primary
Between 2 & 3
Secondary Between High Tension
(PTO) Lead Caps
Secondary Between High Tension
(MAG) Lead Caps
