When setting torque using a crows foot, the socket
must be at a 90° angle to the torque wrench as shown.
TORQUE
Lower Jam Nut:
13 ft-lbs (18 N·m)
dash in both Park/High. If the shifter is still contacting
the dash, repeat the adjustment procedure until there
is no contact with the dash.
• Shifter fully engages all gears.
• Dash is not moving when shifting into Park/High
NOTICE
It is important to follow the front gearcase maintenance
intervals described in the Periodic Maintenance Chart.
