Fiber Autotest Settings

The WireScope 350 is designed to be flexible to support a wide range of
networking, cable, and connector certifications you may encounter in the field.
Before you start testing, it is important that your fiber autotest settings match
your certification requirements.
Editing fiber autotest settings
To edit autotest settings, start at the Fiber Main Menu and press Fiber Autotest.
This brings up the Fiber Autotest Setup screen. The Fiber Autotest Setup screen
summarizes a few key settings. You can either start an autotest from this screen
or edit settings.
To view and edit any fiber autotest settings from the Fiber Autotest Setup
screen, press Edit Settings. The Fiber Autotest Settings screen shown above on
the right will open up.
The Fiber Autotest Settings screen lists all of the current fiber autotest settings
categories and summary status for each. To view or edit any setting, first select
it either by touching it or using the
blue color highlight.
Press
or the Edit button to open the configuration screen(s) for the selected
setting. Once you have opened the configuration screen(s) for any setting, there
will be instructions to guide you through any changes to that setting. When you
exit the configuration screen(s) for any setting, you will return to the Fiber
Autotest Settings screen.
