The connecting hardware database
The connecting hardware database tool allows you to review, edit or add to the
connecting hardware information that is stored in the WireScope 350.
The WireScope 350 uses the connecting hardware setting to check for
compatibility between the attached test probe and the connecting hardware on
the cabling under test. This compatibility is especially important when testing
Category 6 cabling runs.
To view the specifications for any connector in the WireScope 350 database,
from the database menu screen, press the Connecting Hardware button. Select
the connector manufacturer from the list and press
