Database and Memory
When you save test results, the WireScope 350 stores the saved data into either
its internal flash memory or optionally, into a removable CompactFlash™
memory card.
You can review test results on the WireScope 350 by using the Database tool.
You can upload saved test results directly from the WireScope 350 or from a
CompactFlash™ memory card to a PC running ScopeData Pro software.
The amount of memory space that each test result takes up depends on the
options that you set before you start testing. Generally, if you save plots with
each test, the size of each test result file is considerably larger than if you omit
plots. When you save plots, the size of the result file depends on the maximum
frequency selected and on how many additional measurements you add into
each autotest.
The WireScope 350 allocates approximately 4MB of internal Flash memory for
test result storage. The exact amount of memory available depends on the size of
the WireScope 350 software that is loaded.
The following table outlines approximate record storage capabilities for the
internal Flash memory when configured for 4MB and for a 32 MB removable
CompactFlash™ card.
