Maximizing battery run time

The rechargeable NiMH battery packs that power the WireScope 350 and
DualRemote 350 should be adequate to support a full day's worth of testing
under normal conditions. Starting with a fully charged battery, the WireScope
350 is typically able to run for 9 hours before requiring a recharge. The
DualRemote 350 can run even longer between recharges because it does not
have a color screen and therefore consumes less power while operating.
To maximize battery run time, you should:

Set the screen backlight brightness to the lowest setting that provides
adequate screen readability in the environment where you will be
working.
Enable the sleep function so that the WireScope 350 can power down
·
its screen and save more power when you leave it unattended for a few
minutes.
To adjust these settings, starting from the main menu screen, press the System
button. Select User Interface and press

or the Edit button.
