Single Ended Calibration

Attach the Fiber SmartProbe
to the test port of the WireScope 350. Connect the
+
transmitter of the Fiber SmartProbe
to the detector of the same probe using two
short test cables and a coupler between them. Press Calibration from the Fiber
Main Menu. Select the Single Ended option in the Fiber Calibration screen.
Press Next or the
button to continue.
When the WireScope 350 detects a valid connection, the OK button will be
enabled. Press OK or the
button to perform the calibration. When the
calibration is complete, a status dialog will appear. Press OK or the
button
to return to the Fiber Main Menu.
