Fiber Test Configuration Setup
First, you must specify whether the Fiber Autotest will be Single Ended or
Double Ended.
Single Ended measurements require that fibers be tested in pairs in a loopback
configuration. Double Ended testing requires two Fiber SmartProbes allowing
fibers to be tested either in pairs or individually.
To select Single Ended or Double Ended Mode, select the Setup icon and press

or the Edit button. Select the desired configuration and press OK or
to return to the Fiber Autotest Settings screen.
The WireScope 350 detects the type of probe inserted into the SmartProbe
connector. See page 39 for an introduction to this feature and how to view
probe information.
