Using CompactFlash™ cards
Chapter 15
The WireScope 350 can save test results either in an internal (fixed) flash
memory area or in an optional removable CompactFlash™ memory card. If the
CompactFlash™ slot is empty, the WireScope 350 by default saves test results
to the internal flash memory area.
When you insert a CompactFlash™ card into the WireScope 350
CompactFlash™ slot, the following dialog box appears:
Press the Yes button to begin configuring the CompactFlash™ card. The
Storage Setup screen will appear. Select CFlash Card and press
continue.
Before the WireScope 350 can begin saving tests records to the CompactFlash™
card, it automatically moves all result and setting information presently stored in
internal flash memory to the CompactFlash™ card. Once the information is
moved, the internal flash memory is cleared.
Once this process of merging databases onto the CompactFlash™ card and
cleaning up the internal flash memory is complete, you can start saving test
results to the CompactFlash™ card.
