Chapter 4
Viewing probe information
To access probe information, from the Autotest Settings screen, select the probe
icon and press
or Edit.
You can view the WireScope (default) or DualRemote probes by pressing the
appropriate tab on the top of the display.
Autotest settings profiles
You can quickly and consistently configure WireScope 350 units prior to testing
by using a settings profile. Loading a settings profile is a fast way to configure
multiple settings all at once.
A WireScope 350 settings profile stores any or all of the settings needed to run
an autotest. You can save the current state of the WireScope 350 to a settings
profile so that you quickly restore settings later or you can load predefined
settings profiles which conform to test specifications required for a particular
project or brand of cabling products.
You can create a settings profile either directly on the WireScope 350 or from
within the ScopeData Pro software application on a PC. To create a settings
profile directly on the WireScope 350, start from the Autotest Settings screen.
Select the autotest settings profile icon and press
or Edit.
