Using the list
If you have already saved test records on the WireScope 350 and would like to
save the current test under one of the already-entered cable labels, you may
prefer to pick the cable label from a list. Press the List button to switch to list
mode.
Using auto-increment
Often, if you are testing cabling runs in a predictable sequence, it can save time
to configure the WireScope 350 to auto-increment cable labels. With auto-
increment, you dramatically reduce the amount of data entry that you must do.
To setup cable label auto-increment, please see Site Settings in Chapter 4. In the
example sequence below, auto-increment is set for the wallplate and jack fields
of an hierarchical cable label format.
