14. When replacing a temperature limiter, you can reuse the existing
retainer if it is not damaged. Press the terminals of a temperature
limiter against a hard surface; the temperature limiter will then
detach from its retainer.

Alternatively, at the side of a temperature limiter that has the
terminals, use a small flat blade screwdriver or similar object to
push the temperature limiter out from its retainer.
15. Replace the defective temperature limiter(s). Install both
temperature limiters and their retainers onto the housing (not onto
the glass element). Make sure the aluminum surfaces of the
temperature limiters facing upward (see Figure 128).
NOTE: The limiter with the manual-reset temperature button on
the bottom goes in the receptacle that is the closest to the
warming drawer control panel (see Figure 127, page 74).
16. Install the glass element and matting onto the housing assembly:
a. First place the 1-holed matting over the housing. Make sure
the hole is aligned with the corresponding hole in the housing
(see Figure 128).
b. Now guide the glass element terminal wires through the
receptacle, and then place the glass element over the matting
(see Figure 128).
17. Install the element gasket and frame (see Element Gasket and
Frame – Removal and Replacement, page 69).
18. Turn the element-housing assembly upside-down, and reconnect
all wire connectors.
NOTE: For the terminals of each temperature limiter, there is one
blue wire and one violet wire, and the harness wires are labeled to
identify the correct temperature limiter.
19. Install the wire tray.
20. Install the rear panel (with sensor), and then return the warming
drawer to the cavity.

Warming Drawer External Gasket – Removal and
Replacement
1. Follow all safety precautions and steps in the Preparing the Range
for Servicing, page 25.
2. Open the warming drawer and gently pull out the external gasket,
gradually working your way from one end to the other.
3. Replace the gasket if needed.
4. After replacing the gasket, check to make sure the warming
drawer door is positioned correctly, and closes with a tight fit.
