Steam Oven Control Board– Removal and Replacement
The steam oven has two printed circuit board assemblies
(PCBAs) – the control board, and the power module. For the power
module removal and replacement procedure, see Power Module for
Steam Oven – Removal and Replacement, page 40.
Be sure to check QuickFinder for relevant information, documentation,
and the correct part number when replacing this component.
Electrical Charge
Make sure the electrical power to the appliance is OFF before
handling the steam oven control board. The heat sink on the board
contains a high electrical charge. See Figure 46 and Figure 47.
Hot Component
Even after electrical power has been turned off, do not handle the end
of the steam oven control board with the heat sink as it may be hot for
a few minutes. When removing the board from the range (from the
standoffs), it is recommended to handle the steam oven control board
only at the end without the heat sink. See Figure 46 and Figure 47.
