6.8 Removal and Replacement of Warming Drawer
Components
The warming drawer procedures require access from the front of the
range, except for the Removing the Warming Drawer and Cavity from
the Range procedure, which also requires access from the back of the
range.
Be sure to check QuickFinder for relevant information, documentation,
and the correct part number when replacing these components.
6.8.1 Warming Drawer Control Panel Components – Removal
and Replacement
Remove the warming drawer control panel to service the
following components:
·
Power LED Indicator
·
Door handle and endcaps
·
Display module
·
Front panel
NOTE: If you are not servicing the components listed above, in order
to service the warming drawer you may still need to remove the
control panel, but without disassembling it. See Removing the
Warming Drawer Control Panel Assembly, page 63.
1. Follow all safety precautions and steps in the Preparing the Range
for Servicing, page 25.
2. At the front of the range, remove and retain the six screws holding
the warming drawer control panel onto the drawer; three on the
top side and three on the bottom side (see Figure 91).
NOTE: If there isn't enough space for a screwdriver under the
control panel, then perform the entire Removing the Warming
Drawer Control Panel Assembly procedure first on page 63 before
removing the six screws.
3. Pull out the control panel, and then detach the multi-pin wire
connector (see Figure 92).
