Meat Probe Receptacle Components – Removal and
Replacement
For the meat probe receptacle components (not the probe),
access is required from both the front and right side of the range.
The meat probe measures the meat temperature and turns off the
oven when the defined temperature is reached.
Be sure to check QuickFinder for relevant information, documentation,
and the correct part number when replacing these components.

1. Follow all safety precautions and steps in Preparing the Range for
Servicing, page 25.
2. Remove oven trays.
3. Remove the backguard (see Backguard Removal and
Replacement, page 100).
4. Remove maintop components (see Accessing Components under
the Maintop, page 25).
5. For the large oven, remove the right side panel (see Side Panel
Removal and Replacement, page 32).
6. Remove the oven door (see Removing the Door, page 110).
7. From inside the oven cavity, use a wrench to remove and retain
the nut and lockwasher, and then remove the cover (see
Figure 188 and Figure 189).
