1. Follow all safety precautions and steps in Preparing the Range for
Servicing, page 25.
2. Remove the backguard, per Backguard Removal and
Replacement procedure, page 100.
3. Remove the back panel for the steam oven (see Back Panel for
Steam Oven – Removal and Replacement, page 102).
4. Remove and retain the screw on the temperature sensor bracket
(see Figure 69), and then pull the sensor out (attached to the
bracket).
5. Use a needle nose pliers to remove and retain the rubber sensor
seal from the receptacle (see Figure 70). If damaged, replace the
seal.

Temperature Limiter Assembly for Steam Oven –
Removal and Replacement
For the steam oven, when the temperature reaches the
maximum temperature threshold, the temperature limiter breaks the
electrical circuit in order to protect the electronics from abnormally
high heat conditions.

and the correct part number when replacing this component.

1. Follow all safety precautions and steps in the Preparing the Range
for Servicing, page 25.
2. Remove the backguard (see Backguard Removal and
Replacement, page 100).
3. Remove the back steam oven panel (see Back Panel for Steam
Oven – Removal and Replacement, page 102).
4. Detach the wire connectors from the temperature limiter assembly
terminals (see Figure 69, page 48).
NOTE: The temperature limiter assembly is comprised of two
temperature limiters. When installing, each of the two limiters must
have two of the same color wires (whether brown or blue)
connected to its two terminals (located at the top and bottom). For
example, Figure 71 shows the left temperature limiter having two
blue wires attached, while the right temperature limiter has two
brown wires attached.
5. Remove and retain the two screws securing the temperature
limiter assembly to the frame, and then remove the temperature
limiters.
6. Replace the temperature limiter assembly if needed.
