Warming Drawer Sensor – Removal and Replacement
You can service the sensor with or without removing the warming
drawer from the cavity.
Be sure to check QuickFinder for relevant information, documentation,
and the correct part number when replacing any of these components.
NOTE: For temperature sensor diagnostics, see Oven Temperature
Sensor Diagnostics, page 18.
1. Perform steps 1–6 of the Removing the Warming Drawer from the
Cavity procedure, page 66.
2. Detach the wire connector at the rear panel (see Figure 111).

3. Remove the rear panel. If the warming drawer is still installed, be
careful when removing the rear panel so that the glass element
doesn't get scratched.
4. On the rear panel, remove and retain the single screw above the
sensor housing (see Figure 112).

5. Pull the sensor housing out, and then detach the wire connector
(see Figure 113).

6. When replacing the sensor, you can use tape to affix the wire onto
the rear panel so that the wire harness doesn't fall back, and out
of reach (see Figure 114, page 69).
