6.11.8 Bake Element Components – Removal and Replacement
Bake element components are accessible from the front of the
range.
Be sure to check QuickFinder for relevant information, documentation,
and correct part numbers when replacing any of these components.
Sharp Components
Wear gloves when handling bake element components, as they may
have sharp edges
1. Follow all safety precautions and steps in Preparing the Range for
Servicing, page 25.
2. Remove oven doors (see Oven Door Removal, Installation, and
Alignment, page 110).
3. Remove the kick panel (see Kick Panel Removal and
Replacement, page 121).
4. Remove and retain the two screws on the front panel (Figure 213).
5. Pull the bake element tray out slightly (see Figure 214).
