Steam Oven Door – Removal and Replacement of Glass
with Drip-Tray Assembly
Be sure to check QuickFinder for relevant information,
documentation, and correct part numbers when replacing these
components.
1. Follow all safety precautions and steps in Preparing the Range for
Servicing, page 25.
2. Remove steam oven door (see Oven Door Removal, Installation,
and Alignment, page 110).
3. Remove the four screws from the base of the door (Figure 88).

4. Place the door on a protective mat with the handle facing down,
then gently lift and pull out the glass with drip-tray assembly, in the
direction of the door base (see Figure 89).

5. When installing the replacement glass with drip-tray assembly,
after it is placed on the door, use a narrow screw driver or similar
tool to reach in through the hinge openings and align and support
the inner frame with fiberglass rope so that its holes line up with
the holes on the door skin and drip tray (see Figure 88 and
Figure 90).
