Removing or replacing the S8100 fan
assembly

Pull (unplug) the fan assembly from the chassis using the thumb/finger notch provided. The
power for the fan automatically disconnects when the assembly is unplugged.

Plug in the new fan assembly. The power for the fan automatically connects when the fan
assembly is plugged in.

Replace the fan/filter access panel and the left door.
Removing or replacing the S8100 fan filter

Remove the fan access panel from the left side of the cabinet.

Pull the fan filter from the chassis.

Clean (vacuum or wash with water) or replace the filter as needed and slide the filter back into the
chassis.
4
Replace the fan access panel.
