T roubleshooting
Usually, if the system seems not to transmit the signal as expected, the best
strategy for troubleshooting is to check signal integrity through the whole
signal chain starting from source side and moving forward to receiver end.

9.1. Use Cases
At first, check front panel LEDs and take the necessary steps according to their states. For more information
about status, LEDs refer to the Front and Rear View - F-series Endpoint Devices

Check the endpoints and the other
devices if they are properly powered; try
to unplug and reconnect them.
Cables must fit very well, check all the
connectors (HDMI and optical/DAC
cables).
Use special fiber optical cable cleaning
equipment to clean it carefully.
If the front panel LINK OK LED does
not light, no connection is established
between the endpoints. Check the cable
connections on the SFP+ ports.
Check the installed SFP+ modules
and install multimode or singlemode
modules by pairs only.
Install SFP+ transceiver module to the
SFP+ port
Check which video stream switched
to the current output (the setting is
available in the transmitter side).
