T roubleshooting
Usually, if the system seems not to transport the signal as expected, the best
strategy for troubleshooting is to check signal integrity through the whole
signal chain starting from source side and moving forward to receiver end.

Symptom Root cause
Video signal
Device or devices are not Check the receiver and the other devices
powered properly if they are properly powered; try to unplug
and reconnect them.
Cable connection Cables must fit very well, check all the
problem connectors (video and TPS cables).
No incoming signal If the TPS LINK LED does not light, no
signal is present on the TPS input port.
Check the source device and the CATx
cable.
TPS mode problem Check the actual TPS mode and the
selected modes of the extenders.
The output is muted Check the mute state of output port.
Display is not able to Check the emulated EDID; select another
receive the video format (e.g. emulate the EDID of the display on
the input port).
HDCP is disabled Enable HDCP on the input and output
port.
