■ Paper Level/Presence Detection
Detection of paper level and presence/absence of paper in the cassette is performed by the following sensors.
Paper Sensor
Detects presence or absence of paper in the cassette.
Lifter Sensor
Detects whether the surface of papers in the cassette is lifted by lifter control to a position where paper can be picked up.
When the paper surface is detected (lift-up operation is stopped), the paper level is displayed according to the detection state
of the Paper Level Sensor.
Paper Level Sensor
Mounted in the Lifter Unit to detect the paper level in the cassette.
Calculation is performed according to rotating time of Cassette 1, 2 Lifter Motor (M06) to estimate the timing when the paper
level becomes 66% or less.
When the paper level reaches 10% or less, the Paper Level Sensor A detects the paper level.
The paper level is displayed in four levels on the Control Panel.
