44 Settings, I/O and diagnostics on the control panel

Start, stop, reference

Use the Start, stop, reference submenu to set up start/stop commands, reference,
and related features, such as constant speeds or run permissions.
The table below provides detailed information about the available setting items in the
Start, stop, reference menu.

Secondary control

Description
Sets where the drive gets its reference when
remote control (Ext1) is active.
The voltage or current fed to the input is converted
into a value the drive can use (e.g. reference).
Sets where the drive gets start, stop, and
(optionally) direction commands when remote
control (Ext1) is active.
Settings for the secondary remote control location,
Ext2. These settings include reference source,
start, stop, direction and command sources for
Ext2.
By default, Ext2 is set to Off.
