4-wheel steering actuator: Removal - Refitting
4-WHEEL STEERING
a Remove:
- the left-hand underbody protector nuts (5) ,
- the left-hand underbody protectors.
a Remove the bolt (6) from the fuel tank filler neck.

a Position a component jack under the tank.
a Undo the fuel tank bolts (7) .
a Lower the tank to gain access to the four wheel drive
actuator wiring.
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Mark:
- the routing of the four-wheel drive actuator wiring,
- the position of the four-wheel drive actuator link-
age, on the compensator side,
- the position, head down, of the four-wheel drive ac-
tuator bolts.
