Battery disconnection unit: Removal - Refitting

a Move aside the battery disconnection unit support at
(7) while slightly raising the Protection and Switching
Unit tray.
a Partially remove the battery disconnection unit from
its support at (8) to access the connectors.
a Unclip the locks (9) of the lower connectors.
a Disconnect the connectors (10) from the battery dis-
connection unit.

REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Connect the connectors of the battery disconnection

unit.
a Clip on the locks of the lower connectors.
a Fit the battery disconnection unit on its support.
a Tighten the bolts of the battery disconnection unit
support.
a Refit:
- the metal bracket,
- the nut of the Protection and Switching Unit tray.
- the battery disconnection unit wiring.
a Torque tighten the battery disconnection unit wir-
ing nuts (8 N.m).

tacts, starting or charging faults, sparking, or
could cause the battery to explode (see 80A,

page 80A-1) .
