ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM
Rear wheel speed sensor: Removal - Refitting
a Carefully move the tab on the sensor holder (2) us-
ing a flat-blade screwdriver to release the wheel
speed sensor (3) .
a Unpick the wheel speed sensor wiring at (4) .
a Disconnect the wheel speed sensor connector be-
hind the rear wheel arch liner.
a Unpick the wheel speed sensor wiring at (5) .
a Remove the wheel speed sensor.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the wheel speed sensor onto the sensor hold-
er.
a Connect the speed sensor connector.
a Clip on the wheel speed sensor wiring at (4) and (5) .
a Check the air gap over one turn of the target with a
set of feeler gauges (non adjustable): 0.6 ± ± ± ± 0.5 mm.
II - FINAL OPERATION.
a Refit:
- the rear wheel arch clip (1) ,
- the rear wheel (see 35A, Wheels and tyres,
Wheel: Removal - Refitting, page 35A-1) .
