ELECTRONIC PARKING BRAKE
I - LIST OF COMPONENTS
The « assisted parking brake » is composed of:
- a control unit
- an emergency handle
- a lever
- a clutch pedal position sensor
II - LOCATION OF COMPONENTS
Control unit
Emergency handle
The emergency handle must only be used if there is a
battery fault or major assisted parking brake fault (red
warning light).
Using the emergency handle:
- put the vehicle in first gear,
- chock the front wheels,
- raise the rear right-hand wheel (see Vehicle: Towing
and lifting) (02A, Lifting equipment),
- remove the cap and pull on the cable using a trim re-

moval tool.
Always replace the cap immediately after having acti-
vated the emergency handle.
