Battery terminals: Removal - Refitting
F4R or K4M or K9K or M4R or M9R
a Refit the wiring on the battery's positive terminal (16)

WARNING
Incorrect tightening could cause heating of con-
tacts, starting or charging faults, sparking, or
could cause the battery to explode (see 80A,
Battery, Battery: Precautions for the repair,
page 80A-1) .
a Torque tighten the wiring nut of the battery's pos-
itive terminal (8 N.m).
a Connect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Re-
moval - Refitting, page 80A-4) .

II - FINAL OPERATION.

a Refit the battery cover at the front, ensuring that the
clips are unlocked by a quarter of a turn.
a Ensure that the clips are properly fitted into the
notches (17) .
a Align the back of the battery cover (18) on the bat-
tery tray.
a Ensure that the battery cover is properly fitted into
the battery tray at (19) .
a Clip on the back of the battery cover.
a Lock the battery cover clips by a quarter of a turn.
