Automatic gearbox: Removal - Refitting
V4Y, and AJ0
a Refit:
- the crankshaft position sensor (see Crankshaft
position sensor: Removal - Refitting) (17B,
Petrol injection),
- the starter (see Starter: Removal - Refitting)
(16A, Starting - Charging),
- the protection plate.
a Torque tighten the protection plate bolt (7 N.m).
a Connect the cooling hoses to the gearbox oil cooler.
a Fit the cooling hose clips to the gearbox oil cooler
using the tool (Mot. 1448).
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
- the engine - gearbox assembly (see Engine -
gearbox assembly: Removal - Refitting) (10A,
Engine and peripherals),
- the left-hand suspended engine mounting (see
Left-hand suspended engine mounting: Re-
moval - Refitting) (19D, Engine mounting),
- the right-hand suspended engine mounting (see
Right-hand suspended engine mounting: Re-
moval - Refitting) (19D, Engine mounting),
- the rear catalytic pre-converter (see Rear catalytic
pre-converter: Removal - Refitting) (19B, Ex-
haust),
- the front catalytic pre-converter (see Front catalyt-
ic pre-converter: Removal - Refitting) (19B, Ex-
haust),
- the front row upstream oxygen sensor (see Oxy-

- the inlet manifold (see Inlet distributor: Removal

a Perform the following operations:
- fill up the gearbox oil (see 23A, Automatic gear-
box, Automatic gearbox oil: Draining - Filling,

- fill up and bleed the cooling system (see Cooling
system: Draining - Refilling) (19A, Cooling),
- fill the refrigerant circuit using a refrigerant charg-
ing station (see Refrigerant circuit: Draining -
Filling) (62A, Air conditioning).
- a leak test (see Air conditioning: Check) (62A,
Air conditioning).
a Refit:
- the front end panel (see Front end panel: Remov-
al - Refitting) (42A, Upper front structure),
- the audible warning (see Audible warning: Re-
moval - Refitting) (82B, Horn),
- the bonnet catch (see Bonnet lock: Removal -
Refitting) (52A, Non-side opening element mecha-
nisms),
- the headlights (see Headlight: Removal - Refit-

- the engine undertray,
