Multifunction switch: Removal - Refitting

II - REMOVAL OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Disconnect the multifunction switch connector (3) .
a Remove:
- the multifunction switch bolts (4) ,
- the multifunction switch.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Position the multifunction switch in the N position.
a Refit:
- the multifunction switch,
- the multifunction switch bolts.
a Without tightening, fit the multifunction switch bolts.
AUTOMATIC GEARBOX

a Set up the (Bvi. 1805) (5) .
a Align the shaft of the tool with the relevant hole (6)
on the multifunction switch.
a Torque tighten the multifunction switch bolts (6
Nm).
a Remove the (Bvi. 1805).
a Connect the multifunction switch connector.
II - FINAL OPERATION.
a Refit:
- the multifunction switch control lever,
- the multifunction switch control lever nut.
a Torque tighten the multifunction switch control le-
ver nut (17 Nm).
a Fit and lock the cable sleeve stop on its mounting.
a Clip the cable ball joint onto the multifunction switch.
a Refit:
- the air filter box (see Air filter unit: Removal - Re-
fitting) (MR 415, 12A, Fuel mixture),
- the battery tray (see Battery tray: Removal - Re-
fitting) (MR 415, 80A, Battery),
- the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refitting)
(MR 415, 80A, Battery).
