measurement only works if the CO

option has been installed and if the CO
present.
1 Connect the CO
sensor and the cuvette (refer

to "Connecting the CO
on page 48).
2 Set the cuvette type in the Settings menu (refer
to Cuvette type setting).
The following will be activated:
– Curve window: CO
– Measured values window: the parameter etCO
will automatically be displayed
– Alarm window: etCO

Cuvette type setting

NOTE
The cuvette windows of the reusable cuvette and
disposable cuvette have different optical proper-
ties. Therefore, the correct cuvette type must be
selected in the Setting menu. Otherwise the zero
point is shifted by up to ± 8 mmHg of CO
To set the cuvette type (reusable or disposable):
1 Press the Settings
2 Select and activate the line Cuvette type.
3 Set the cuvette type and confirm.

NOTE
If a wrong cuvette type is selected, the Oxylog
3000 plus displays the alarm !!! Check cuvette
type.
