Selecting a Sensor
Only Nellcor sensors may be used (see the
Accessories List, P/N 8603528) for list of available
sensors).
The new Oximax modules implemented in the Apollo
are only compatible with the new Oximax sensors
(purple probe or white probe for MAX FAST).
Only the DEC-8 or DEC-4 extension lead (purple
plug connector) may be used.
The new sensors are backward-compatible with all
modules already used in the field in older Dräger
machines.
WARNING !
Follow the Instructions for Use for the SpO
sensor being used. Incorrect positioning may
cause injuries.
The following table provides guidelines for selecting
a specific sensor.
