Cause
Zero calibration of the CO
sensor failed.
The sensor window is
soiled.
The CO
sensor has a

hardware failure.
Zero point of the CO
2
sensor is outside the
tolerance range.
Changed setting has not
been confirmed with the
rotary knob.
Breathing valve or hose
system obstructed.
Increased expiratory
resistance.
Technical defect.
Technical defect.
Technical defect.
The upper alarm limit for
end-expiratory CO
2
concentration has been
exceeded.
Remedy
Do not breathe on the CO
2
during calibration.
Redo the zero calibration.
Clean the CO
sensor window.

Perform the zero calibration.
Press the rotary knob to confirm
the setting change.
Check patient condition.
Check breathing valve and hose
system.
Check bacterial/HME filter.
Replace it if necessary.
Disconnect the patient from the
device and continue ventilation
without delay using another

After pressing Alarm Reset the
device will directly display further
failure information in the Customer
