USING A microSD CARD
Importing or Exporting a CSV format file
Please read this section before importing or exporting
a Comma Separated Values (CSV) format file from the
microSD card.
You can import or export the following data:
• Your Call Sign Memory
• Repeater List
• GPS Memory

NOTE:
• Before importing, make a backup file of all the
transceiver's data to the microSD card in case of
data loss.
• The transceiver cannot display a file that has a
file name longer than 21 characters. In this case,
rename it using 20 characters or less. When you
export the data in a CSV format file using the CS-
4100, BE SURE to name it using 20 characters or
less.
Example: Importing the Your Call sign memory.
SD Card > Import/Export > Import
1. Push [MENU].
2. Rotate [DIAL] to select "SD Card," then push [ï].
3. Select "Import/Export," then push [ï].
4. Select "Import," then push [ï].
5. Select "Your Call Sign," then push [ï].
6. Select the CSV file to import.
• The confirmation dialog "Import file?" is displayed.
7. Select <YES>, then push [ï].
• Starts to import.
L While importing, "IMPORTING" and a progress bar
are displayed.
L After importing ends, "COMPLETED!" is displayed.
L To complete the importing, restart the transceiver.
TIP: To import a repeater list, see the step 6 on page
6-5 for details.
